Quotas reference

The resource dimensions a tenant quota controls, their units, and the rules that govern them.

How quotas work

Quotas are set per tenant (child account), separately for compute (per compute pool) and storage (per storage pool).
A value of 0 or unset means unlimited for that dimension.
For each dimension, the Max must be greater than or equal to the Guarantee.
A tenant can only be delegated up to the capacity remaining in its parent.
PAYG (pay-as-you-go) marks a dimension as billed on usage rather than a fixed allocation.

The Quotas overview shows live consumption against each allocation.

Used vCPU and used RAM (GB) are summed from the tenant’s running VMs.
For each dimension the overview reports the max, current pool usage, amount used, amount remaining, and percentage used.
Headroom bars turn from healthy to warning as usage approaches the limit.
