Managing user groups
Purpose
- Group users by team, function, or organizational unit
- Simplify role assignment workflows
- Maintain consistent access patterns across similar users
Prerequisites
- View groups: accesscontrol.usergroups.read
- Create/edit groups: accesscontrol.usergroups.create
- Confirm account context before changes.
View User Groups
- Open Access Control → User Groups.
- Review the groups table.
- Select a group to view membership.
- Expected result: Groups are visible with member counts.
Create a User Group
- In User Groups, select Create Group.
- Enter group name and description.
- Save the group.
- Expected result: Group is created and ready for user assignment.
Add Users to Group
- Open the target group.
- Select Add Users.
- Choose users to add.
- Save changes.
- Expected result: Users are added to the group.
